The Darul Ma’arif Kaplongan Islamic Boarding School is preparing to hold its annual grand arts stage entitled “Darul Ma’arif Show 2026”. This event, which combines student creativity and historical reflection, is scheduled to take place in the evening and will feature dozens of artistic performances, ranging from colossal dramas to appearances by national guest stars.
The series of events will open at exactly 19.10 WIB with the screening of an opening video produced under the direction of Ustadzah Maryam Aishatul Fuziah.
Immediately after that, the stage will be rocked by a band performance from Class XII students as a marker for the start of the evening’s celebration of visual arts and music.
Historical and Cultural Drama Highlights
Acting is one of the main menus in this year’s performance. Students from various grade levels will present plays with local content and the history of world Islamic civilization.
Some of the most anticipated theater performances include:
- Drama “Roro Jonggrang”: Performed by Class VIII students at the beginning of the event to highlight the wisdom of Indonesian folklore.
- Drama “Lumbung Padi”: A reflection of agriculture and local culture which will be performed by Class VII students.
- Drama “The Fall of Constantinople”: A world historical epic that will be presented theatrically by Class VIII.
- Drama “Resolution Jihad”: The theatrical culmination of the history of the struggle of the Islamic boarding school students in defending Indonesian independence which will be played by Class VII.

In between the sparkling art performances, the essence of Islamic boarding school values remained the main spirit of the event. This event will also provide special appreciation through a Prize Distribution session for students who excel.
Special Appearance “Extra Project”
As the culmination of the event which was eagerly awaited by thousands of spectators, the committee presented a special guest star, Extra Project. This music group is allocated a long performance of 120 minutes, starting at 21.47 WIB until just before midnight.
The entire event from start to finish will be dynamically guided by the student Master of Ceremony (MC) duo, Ubaidillah Habibi and M. Fadhli, before finally officially closing at 23.50 WIB.
